Ms. Heiserman currently serves as a 9-12 Special Education Teacher at South Hardin High School.  Ms. Heiserman is in her 25th year as an educator in the state of Iowa.  She has worked  with students and teachers in a variety of 7-12 settings including as a paraprofessional with adjudicated youth, Middle School ELA instructor, and 7-12 special education teacher.

Ms. Heiserman received her Bachelor of Arts from the Buena Vista University and her Master of Arts of Teaching. from Morningside College.  Her goal in education is to help students experience self- actualization and become productive members of society.
