Mrs. LaVelle teaches Geometry, Algebra 2, PreCalculus & Statistics for South Hardin. She is also a Student Leadership CoSponsor & Silver Cord Coordinator. The 2023/2024 school year marks her 4th year at SHHS & 13th total year in Education. During that time she has taught various high school courses, 7th grade, been a substitute teacher & a paraeducator. 

Mrs. LaVelle started her post secondary journey at Ellsworth Community College. She received her degree in Math Education from University of Northern Iowa.

Later she received a Masters degree from Kaplan University in Education. And Masters Continued Ed with Chadron State College to offer SH students Dual Enrollment math courses with Ellsworth Community College. 

Mrs. LaVelle lives in Eldora with her husband & two young daughters.
