Mrs. Owens currently serves as a special education teacher 9-12 and English as a Second language teacher (ELL) K-5 & 9-12. She hasworked in the district for 21 years. She started at Tiger PACK, then worked as a para in the elementary, and now has been a teacher at the high school for 12 years. 

Mrs. Owens received a B.A. from William Penn University in Elementary Education with ELL and Special education endorsements. She also holds a Masters degree is from Morningside College. Her goal is to help build students who are prepared to enter the adult world with as many skills as possible.
