South Hardin Superintendent Hiring Update

We are excited to update you on the progress of our superintendent search for the Eldora-New Providence CSD and Hubbard-Radcliffe CSD. The candidate pool is strong, with 17 applicants, including five from out of state (Missouri, Alaska, California, and South Dakota). This diverse group brings a range of experiences and qualifications that align with the districts’ desired leadership profile.
Next Steps:

  1. January 14: The school board will select 5-8 semi-finalists.
  2. January 20: Screening interviews will narrow the pool to 3 finalists.
  3. January 27: Formal interviews with stakeholders, including staff, parents, students, and community members, will take place.
The board anticipates naming the new superintendent in early February, with the selected leader beginning their role on July 1, 2025.
