Satellite Voting Reminder: Tomorrow, Thursday, October 26 from 2:30 to 8:30 PM at ENP Elementary School

Posted Date: 10/25/23 (4:00 PM)

We have a very important School Bond Election on the ballot for the Eldora-New Providence city and school elections this fall.  Last time we ran a bond we had less than 30% of our families who were registered to vote and even less than that who actually voted in the last school bond election.  We need every single adult who is 18 years or older and who is a permanent resident in the ENP School District to vote. Remember it isn't one vote per household, every single person in your household can vote and each vote counts.  Also, it takes 60% passage rate for a school bond vote to be approved in Iowa, so every vote truly does have an impact!  We hope every family in our school district will take the opportunity to let their voices be heard during this election.

Click here for more information about the renovations and additions that would happen at ENP Elementary & South Hardin High School if this bond passed.

We have an awesome opportunity tomorrow, Thursday, October 26th for any voter in our community to come vote at the ENP Elementary School between 2:30 and 8:30 PM.  This isn't just an opportunity for ENP Elementary Families, this is an opportunity for all school families, staff members, and community members to come and let their voices be heard.  By voting early you can check this civic duty off your list and not run the risk of forgetting to vote on November 7th.

Everyone wishing to vote will need their ID with them as required by Iowa Law.

If you aren't registered to vote, you can do so right at the Satelittle Voting on Thursday.  Just bring your ID with your current address within the school district, or if your ID has a different address but you currently live within the school district you will need a proof of residency document along with your ID.  Click on this link to see what items can be used for proof of residency.

We hope you take this early voting opportunity to communicate your wishes for the future of the ENP School District & South Hardin Schools!

If you have any questions don't hesitate to e-mail Dr. Zellmer at azellmer@southhardin.org, he will be happy to answer any questions you may have!
